FORGED PERFORMANCE

ICON forgings are created at our in-house facility, utilizing the latest innovations in piston forging technology. Each ICON piston is purpose built from the ground up for extreme high-performance street or racing applications. From the FHR series to the LCAT, ICON offers the most diverse and fully-featured “Off the Shelf” forged piston on the market today. No matter what your high-performance application calls for, there is an ICON piston for you.

CAST PERFORMANCE

Created from a high-silicon aluminum alloy, KB Performance pistons are lightweight to improve throttle response and RPM changes while still being strong enough to withstand high compression and high temperatures. Each piston is engineered with race ready features like high upper compression-ring locations, gas-accumulator grooves, drilled oil returns, and spiral-lock retainer grooves.

OEM REPLACEMENT

For 100 years Silv-o-lite has produced high quality OE replacement pistons for engine rebuilding. UEM continues to manufacture exceptionally broad application coverage with all the latest “State of the Art” features in the Silv-o-lite brand. Every manufacturing process is done in house, including alloying the aluminum, casting, heat treating, diamond machining, and a full array of anodizing and coatings for the piston crowns, ring grooves, and skirts.

DIESEL APPLICATION

Dualoy Diesel pistons are cast and machined in-house to maintain the highest level of quality and consistency. Available for most popular diesel light and medium-duty truck applications, and engine codes. All Dualoy pistons feature a high strength top ring carrier to improve strength of the top land, and resistance to the extreme heat of diesel engines. Oil cooling galleries are cast into the pistons, as required depending on the specific application.

MOTORCYCLE PERFORMANCE

KB Performance Motorcycle pistons are offered in Cast Hypereutectic 390 alloy and Forged 4032 low expansion alloy. Our 4032 alloy is preferred for high performance or high compression applications and offers offset wrist pins for a quiet engine operation. All applications now come equipped with coated skirts for reduced friction between the piston and cylinder wall. The low expansion alloys allow for a tighter piston to wall running clearance, which aids in reducing piston rock and engine noise.

Speed of Air Pistons

United Engine & Machine has been exclusively licensed by Speed of Air Technologies to apply its patented process to our full medium duty Dualoy line of pistons creating Speed of Air Hyperformance Pistons. Speed of Air's patented engine technology creates a drastically more efficient combustion process which results in a number of closely related benefits.
